Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents were Russian and a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to her Russian father and an Indian mother, is proficient with both of the languages. When she was 11, she choreographed an act that earned her a slot on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden that turns into a lively Indian dancer. She completed high-school within New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. After school she took acting classes in the HB Studio, but she moved on to study improvisation at the Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. Her parents were the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father in Kabul, Afghanistan. In her teens the divorce of her parents took place and they moved her from Kabul Afghanistan, to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans.
